Jean de La Noue, second son of Maurice I, Squire, Lord of Orvault, of Briord, of Hudaunais, was Captain of
Machecoul in Retz in 1458. He
married Francoise de la Chapelle in 1430, in 1453 accompanied the Duke of
Brittany to Guyenne as noble Squire. In 1466,
he was man-at-arms under the Lord de Lescun. He was mortally
wounded in 1477. He had a son: Pierre, Guillaume who follows, Beatrix, perhaps Jean.

Guillaume de La Noue V, born in 1436, had the mission of strengthening Vannes in 1487. Married around 1460
N...of Lisseneuve, the only heiress of his family from which he obtained weapons. Lord of Lisseneuve. Judge
of 
Vannes in 1488. From this marriage came:

Guillaume de La Noue VI, Captain of 25 Lances, and one of noble Breton who took refuge in Touraine in 1484
in view of differences with the Landois Minister. Called to serve in the service of the King in Chinon. There, in
1505
he married Christine Perrault of Viliere, daughter of the General Lieutenant and First Magistrate of Chinon. Deceased in 1533. Born from this union were Guillaume and probably Gilles.

Guillaume de La Noue VII, qualified noble squire, Lord de la Noue, succeeded his maternal grandfather as
General
Lieutenant of Chinon. Places then were very distinguished. He married Francoise Jolly de Fromentieres. Wine waiter to the King, to whom he had given oath for this ground in 1489. Guillaume made overtures to the King for his land at Planches in the parish of Pace, close to Rennes, in 1537, then sold this land to purchase new land at Baronnie du Vair. Deceased in 1561. Their sons were Charles de La Noue who follows, Rene, Canon of Chinon in 1561. Guillaume, combined with Claude of Rancher, squire, Lord of Mousseaux, Verneuil and Guitonniere, Gentleman of the House of the King in 1587.

Charles de La Noue (-1612) In 1537, Lord of Gringe-le-Brisay, Vaubreton and du Vair, in 1570, Adviser to the
Parliament of Brittany, Master of the requests of the Hotel, Chancellor of Mr. the Duke of Anjou, brother of Henri
III
was employed with distinction in the most significant businesses of the State, and had shared nobility with his juniors, 3 March 1560. In 1570, married Marie de la Barre, daughter of Jean de la Barre who defeated Mathieu de Goureray, English, in famous tournement in Lisbon. He was brother of Emery de la Barre, breton Knight mortally wounded in the battle of Poitier in 1556. Appears in the Genealogic history of Nobility in Touraine by the Knight L'Hermite de Souliers. From this marriage came: Guillaume who follows. François born in Chinon, priest then monk, close to Machecoul. Prior, then he left his benefit. He was mortally wounded by the Lord of Crapado in a duel. Renee married to Pierre Odespaing lawyer at the Parliament of Paris.

Guillaume VIII, (-1641) Lord de La Noue and Plessis du Vair, Nazelles, Crenolles, Adviser to the Parliament of Brittany, Adviser to Queen Marie de Medicis, and Chancellor to the Duchess of Orleans, Lady of Gaston. Deceased while senior in the Parliament of Brittany.Iin 1604, married Anne de Cornulier, daughter of the Lord de la Touche and La Haye and sister of Pierre de Cornulier, Bishop of Rennes. He tested on 9 February 1611. From the marriage came: Charles who follows, Henri, author of the lineage of the Lords of Bogard that will follow after du Vair, Helene born in 1611, married Jean de Saint-Pern, Knight, Lord of Lattay; Eleonore, born in 1615, married Jean de Maudet Lord of Fouchais.  François, born in 1613, man of war in the company of Cardinal Richelieu in 1639,.Claude, born in 1618, Captain in the Regiment of Navarre in 1665. Guillaume, born in 1619.

Charles de La Noue II, Knight, Lord of Nazelles etc, Count de Vair with letters of 1653, Adviser to the Court of
the 
Assistances of Paris. The first Count du Vair, he added to his weaponry those of "the Iron Arm " or "Bayard Huguenot ".  Adviser to the Queen, then to the King, Louis XIV. Raised his Baronnie and became County. Deceased in 1668. He married noble Elisabeth de Moussy in 1646. Their children were: Anne, born in 1647, Jacques who follows and Roberte. Charles-Armand Lieutenant of the Guards and squire of Prince de Conde, Governor of the Duke of Bourbon who deceased in 1716. Joseph, born in 1652, Captain of cavalry in the Regiment de la Noue with his elder brother, then Lieutenant-General of the Troops of Bavaria and probably Guy, body-guard of the King in 1676.

Jacques de La Noue, (1648-1711) high and powerful Lord, Count de Vair, Baron de Nazelles and de Crenolles,
Captain of the Queen's Dragons in 1676, with the Royal-Cuirassiers in 1679, Knight of Saint-Louis, Lieutenant-
Colonel in 1692, Colonel of the Regiment de la Noue Cavalry in 1694. In 1679, married Catherine de Vieuxpont, one of the most famous Houses of Normandy, daughter of Alexandre, Marquis de Vieuxpont, and single sister of 
Guillaume. Deceased in 1664 in Paris. Lieutenant-General of the Armies of the King, Governor of Charlemont and 
commandant in country of Aunis. Their children were: Charles-Gabriel de La Noue who follows, high and powerful  
Lord Alexandre-Joseph, Knight, Baron de Crenolles, born in 1681, did not leave posterity, was Commandant,
Regiment of Guyenne and Rene-François de La Noue, author of the branch of the Counts de La Noue-Vieuxpont
who follows.

Charles III-Gabriel, high and powerful Lord, Count de La Noue de Vair and de Nazelles, born in 1679. Under
Sergeant of the Bodies-Guard in 1697, Captain, Colonel, Knight of Saint-Louis was with his brothers in 1692, donees of their aunt Jeanne de Vieuxpont. In 1717, he renounced his father's succession, obtained the heritage of his uncle  Charles-Armand. In 1719, married Louise of Rodde, daughter of Claude, Count de Ballore, sergeant of the armies of  the King and Francoise de Sadirac de Montesquiou. His wife deceased in 1721. He had only one son who follows:

Joseph-Claude Jean II, born in 1720 in Abbeville, Knight, Count de La Noue de Vair, Lieutenant to the regiment
of Ferronnays in 1742, Captain in 1746, with Regiment of Chabot in 1753, Lieutenant-Colonel and Knight of
Saint-
Louis in 1776. Married Marie de Sadirac de Montesquiou in 1746. One child: Charles-Marie-Antoine, born
in 1747.
Attended the Military Royal School in 1755, Knight of Saint-Lazare of Jerusalem, Captain of Cavalry in 1776, deceased without alliance (?); Joseph-François-Louis-Marthe, born in 1749 attended Military Royal School in 1760, Knight of Saint-Lazare of Jerusalem, Lieutenant to the Royal-Dragons in 1776, who follows, (Poli was written deceased without alliance, which stopped the lineage). Actually, he was mentioned with the baptism of his small children in Louisiana. Alexandre-Rene-Marie, priest in 1776; Charles-Gabriel-Louis, Knight of Malta in 1786. Three other children were alive in 1766. Ursule, born in 1766 attended the Royal House of Saint-Cyr in 1776 after proof of nobility.

François-Louis-Marthe de La Noue, born on 19 November 1749, Count de Vair, of St-Giraud France. In 1778 married Hypolita Lesage de Laville. Were mentioned at the baptism of their small children in 1833 and 1836 in the Baton Rouge diocese in Louisiana. Deceased in 1817 in St-Giraud, France.

Marie Michel Hypolite de La Noue, born in 1779 de Vair, de Pontijac, dépt. Gers, France, married Adelaide
Colla 
of New-Orleans, born in 1797. He emigrated to Louisiana. Deceased in Baton Rouge. Baptisms are recorded in  Louisiana. Children: Eliza, Eugene-Theodore, Caroline, Jean-Charles who follows, Lucie Adelaide

Jean-Charles Lanoue, born around 1826, baptized in St-Helena, Louisiana. Deceased 17 March year unknow. On 8 June 1851, in Liberty, Louisiana, married Eliza Ann Morgan from Baton Rouge, born in 1833. Their children were: Laura Jackson, Eugene Alexandre, Adelaide Lavinia, Thomas Gibbes Morgan, Sarah Morgan, Louis-Hypolite, Beatrice Lesley, George Morgan, John-Charles, all born in Louisiana.

Louis-Hypolite, born in 1859, married Olive Coffee in Texas or Georgia. Children: Lois 1889, Ida 1891, Laura Mary 1894-1992, Lillie 1897, Harry Morgan, Johen 1902, Katie May 1908.

Harry Morgan born about 1900, died 1951. He was a boiler maker. Married Vivian Boudreaux Stansbury. One son together: Harry Morgan. He left Vivian and married Lena… Had two children : Harry Morgan et Carolyn Ann.

Harry Morgan born 7-12-1933, served in the Navy during Korean War, and most of his working career was a construction supervisor. Married Carolyn Anne Linton 15 August 1955. Two children: Rick Morgan et David Eugene.

Rick Morgan born 9 August 1957, married Sandra McKelvey. Two children : Renée Shirley 23-10 1986 married Shawn Joyce, and Lee Morgan born 5 June 1988. Rick divorced in 1994 remarried Elizabeth Kathleen Woods le 27 July 1996.

David Eugène born 3 April 1957, died in 1996. Married Sherri Auth. Child: Michelle Lavonne born 3 January 1981, married Ed Warpinski, one child : Gavin 23 July 2007.

XXIII
John-Charles, born 29 December 1866 in St-Helena LA. Deceased in 1938 in Marshall Texas. Married Anne Elizabeth Shellshear, born in 1875 in Texas. Children were: Loretta-Lavinia, Beatrice-May, Elise all born in Houston Texas.  Elizabeth Ann, born 27 October 1903 in Valley-Mills Texas. Deceased 11 February 1982 in Dallas Texas. On 3 May 1923 married Ralph Redmond, born 31 January 1892. Deceased 31 March 1950. Children: John Lanoue Redmond, born 6 April 1928. Married 10 December 1953 now living in California. John Charles, engendered John Long sr, who engendered John Long jr married Deirdre..., a dr pediatric surgeon in Cincinnati, Ohio.
