Coat of Arms of De La Noue de Bogard. It is also the coat of arms of
Pierre de La Noue. In addition, according to our research, the term
applies to Pierre Lanoue, the same person, and belongs to all his
descendants to include the Lanoues in America.

Photo of the oldest cemetery situated on the place of deportation. A Lanoue is interred at the base of a wooden cross. His name is Jean-Baptiste Lanoue (5B1), eleven years of age and the son of Amand (4Bc) who returned to Nova Scotia after the deportation. Amand had only one deceased son which is the reason why no more Lanoues existed in Nova Scotia (Acadie): (Donated by Kathy Goyette Brannon from Connecticut)

Photo of Bogard Castle (Chateau de Bogard) which belonged to our ancestor according to our research: (Taken by Martine Lanoue in 1998)

Our Lanoue ancestors were from several generations that included a Deputy at Brittany Assembly in Rennes. So, at the time in Rennes, they were proprietors of their own particular hotel in "Place des Lices": (photo taken in 1968)

What a wonderful surprise to observe the Lanoue name on the Arc de Triumph in Paris!!

And to see the Lanoue name again of a Lanoue Poet at the "Place des Grands Hommes" in Pantheon (Ste-Genevieve) in Paris!!
