A Lanoue book now available.
The intent of this letter is to inform you that the Lanoue History Book I began to write in 2005 has now been finalized and printed. A brief synopsis can be found on the main English page of the Lanoue website at http://lanoue.free.fr. The principal topic of the book focuses on the genealogy and history of Acadian and other individuals bearing the Lanoue name, presented here according to the different stages of discovery in my life. There are various extracts of correspondence exchanges, accounts of personal encounters with other members of the Lanoue family. Any anecdotes, stories of journeys and travels, and varied subjects related and/or linked with the Lanoue family.
The book contains 450 pages written in a six by nine inches format. The title - AN ACADIAN WANDERER – depicts the history of the Lanoue Family in America. It is truly a library book that can be considered the first of its kind. Since the edition is limited, the book will certainly qualify as a collectors item.
